Introducing our new baby Bantam chick’s who have hatched at the castle in the last few days 
All baby chick’s are doing well and mummy chicken is looking after her babies ever so well 
New arrivals
Mountfitchet Castle and the House on the Hill Museum are now closed for the winter, and will re-open on 14th March 2026. Thank you to all of our visitors during 2025, see you in 2026.
