Visited the castle after a friend recommended it to us, we are so glad we discovered this hidden gem in Essex.. a fantastic day out
Mountfitchet Castle and the House on the Hill Museum are now closed for the winter, and will re-open on 14th March 2026. Thank you to all of our visitors during 2025, see you in 2026.
