We aim to be an accessible and inclusive attraction for people with a variety of needs.

But due to the nature of the attractions, there are a few obstacles that visitors will encounter.

Please note, as we are an outdoor site, some areas can get muddy during wet weather.

Mountfitchet Castle is right next to Stansted Mountfitchet station – only 40 minutes from London Liverpool Street and 35 minutes from Cambridge.

There is a large car park with Coach Parking is available for visitors to Mountfitchet Castle.

3-hour stay: £2.70
Sundays & Bank Holidays: £1.20 for the whole day
Blue Badge holders: Parking is free (only with a valid Blue badge displayed on dashboard)
Payment: Via card at the Pay & Display machine, or by using the MyPermit mobile app
Coach Parking: £7.50 for 5hrs via card at the Pay & Display machine(subject to change by council)
Long Stay Parking: If you are staying for over 3 hours, there is a long stay parking area towards the rear of the car park

The Lower Street Car Park is operated by the local council.
